We drove around Turkey for 9 days. We ate at the following restaurants that we liked during the trip, mainly in Istanbul and Goreme. 1⃣️Istanbul 🍴 Çeşme Bazlama Kahvaltı Nişantaşı 📍 Teşvikiye, Osman F. Seden Sk. No:8, 34365 Şişli/İstanbul A popular breakfast shop on Instagram. The decoration and environment of the shop are very pleasing to the eye. The Tiffany blue is decorated with many pastoral styles. There are also terraces and outdoor seats for sitting~ The shop is basically full of locals and Europeans and Americans, and it is also suitable for brunch. It is a buffet style and charges per person. After sitting down, a pot of Turkish black tea will be served first, and then the waiter will gradually bring the ingredients, donuts, sausages, a bunch of vegetables, cheese, N dishes and sauces, a pot of scrambled eggs, juice, and flatbreads. 😋 There are several kinds of flatbreads, and you must order the spinach ones! Other ingredients can be added after finishing the meal. The waiter will keep coming to feed the flatbreads, so it is absolutely no problem to eat until you are satisfied😂 Except for a few cheeses that may not suit the Chinese taste, everything else, even the side dishes, tastes great! 🍴Big Chefs 📍 X2JG+78 Anatolian Side, İstanbul This restaurant was brought to us by a Turkish friend. It feels like a mixture of Western and Turkish food. The interior decoration is very modern and neat. There are many branches. The one we went to is in the Asian area, and you can also see the sea💙 The dishes we ordered were basically not bad, including lamb rice, eggplant, beef balls, lamb dumplings (I can't remember the specific name), and many of them taste very similar to Chinese food! Especially dumplings🥟 2⃣️Göreme 🍴Smile Steakhouse 📍 Hafız Rıfat Efendi Sk., 50180 Göreme/Nevşehir Merkez/Nevşehir A beef-based restaurant next to the Artemis cave hotel where we stayed at the time. The proprietress is Chinese, and there is a super cute dog in the store. There is a cheese hot dog sausage that is his signature dish. We immediately ate it up as soon as it came up, and forgot to take a photo😂The hot dog is the kind that bursts with juice when you bite it, and the taste is so good that I don’t know how to describe it! We also ordered air-dried beef, grilled steak, etc., and none of them were bad dishes~ I have to say that Turkish barbecue is really delicious! 😍 🍴Topdeck Cave 📍Hafız Abdullah Efendi Sk. No 15, 50180 Göreme/Nevşehir Merkez/Nevşehir A very popular cave restaurant, make sure to make an appointment in advance! No reservation, no reception! There are seats for sitting on the floor in the restaurant, which is very Turkish. Unfortunately, we made an appointment late, so there were only ordinary tables left. 😳 According to the previous ordering practice, we ordered chicken, beef and mutton, and there was no disappointment! The taste and texture are very similar to Chinese stir-fried dishes. Except for the one that looks like a spring roll, which is filled with mutton, it is a little greasy, so you must dip it in the accompanying yogurt. 🍴Museum Hotel 📍 Tekeli mah. Eski, Göreme Cd. No.1, 50240 Nevşehir If you don’t book the Museum Hotel, it’s also a good idea to have lunch there~ Remember to call ahead to make an appointment😳 The Turkish food is a fusion of Western food, and the plating and decoration are quite exquisite. As for the taste of the dishes, I personally feel that it’s not bad, and there is nothing particularly amazing~ But it’s basically not bad.
