At the same time the sous chefs are putting the finishing touches on the dishes. The offerings are presented and plated in front of the guest, while watching the various presentations around the bar. The atmosphere is open yet intimate. Each reservation is separate while being part of the total experience. The food! It's a " symphony"Of textures and tastes. The melding of a spice to an herb to a protein. Truly an experience. An OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE.Now, one drawback. The building is historic. As a result there is no elevator. If you can get a booking here, guaranteed an amazing experience. We had a great time and blew our expectations. Not only incredible food, but the service was second to none.
Amazing execution chef and sous chefs and extraordinary sommelier who paired wines brilliantly with superb courses. The foie gras dish was unique. Guillaume (exec chef) and Paulo Pires (sommelier) do wonderful work and are gracious hosts. we loved the table that surrounds the kitchen and the chef and sous chefs give excellent explanations of the food. A fine experience. They deserve their Michelin star.
Highly recommend you try this restaurant. I’ve been to many Michelin Star restaurants in various countries and what was most amazing about this restaurant was the intimacy and opportunity to interact directly with the chefs. To discuss the details, ingredients, preparation methods, etc. which is not generally information that a server would have. The quality of food was also amazing!
