On a chilly Venetian evening, as soon as we entered this beautiful restaurant, we were welcomed by the warmth and friendliness of the waitstaff and the beauty of the venue. We were impressed by the quality of a photographic exhibition across all rooms and walls, showcasing the work of 11 incredibly talented female photographers, as well as the spaciousness and design of the spaces and furnishings. The open kitchen was absolutely sublime, serving simple dishes with fresh and expertly cooked ingredients. Unfortunately, there wasn't a live concert on the evening of our visit, but the background music perfectly complemented the magic of the place and was well-curated. We highly recommend it and will definitely return on our next visit to this wonderful city
A quiet gem of a restaurant on a quiet canal. Attentive service with good local wine recommendations. Warm caponata tambale and thinly sliced tender pork were great starters. The pasta course with chicory and ?chestnut leaves was memorably delicious. And the tiramisu with espresso soaked ladyfingers was the best we had in our two weeks in Italy.
By getting off the beaten path, you’ll be rewarded with untouristy restaurants like Laguna Libre. This hidden gem specializes in great Venetian food with honest and unpretentious service. You just have to try it and enjoy a great meal.
Great vibe awesome musicians and great food. Well recommend. Booking online was slow but fine when we got there. A real hidden gem. Quality of the jazz was excellent
