Aamanns Deli & Take Away Review

We went to two boutique restaurants, and the open sandwiches there were really eye-catching. They were so exquisite and delicious. Let's talk about Aamanns Etablissement, which the two of us preferred. Aamanns is well-known in the open sandwich industry in Copenhagen. It has 1921 (boutique open sandwiches for lunch and exquisite dishes for dinner), Etablissement (boutique open sandwiches) and Deli&takeaway (the cheapest price). It's a good idea to go to Deli&takeaway in the summer. You can order a few of your favorite takeaways and sit in the park to enjoy them slowly. In winter, it's better to sit in a small restaurant and eat honestly. It's windy and rainy outside, and it's unbearable. You can choose a set meal or a la carte. The menu is very considerate and it is recommended that each person order 2 a la carte. It turns out that 2 a la carte/person is full and not wasteful. - Marinated Hering: The herring I ate several times in Northern Europe impressed me very much. There was basically no fishy smell, but a pickled sweet and sour taste instead. The beetroot here is not too abrupt after being processed. Squeeze some silky and creamy French sour cream on it, and add some horseradish for seasoning. The taste also has the crispness of raw onions and the hard crunch of popcorn kernels. Oh my god, delicious! - Pan Fried Plaice: The pan-fried flounder fillet itself is of good quality, accompanied by a strong taste of fried bread crumbs, and the hand-peeled shrimp meat is so sweet and tender. The first bite is because there is no heavy seasoning, and the mouth still has the fragrance of rye bread. The second bite bites into the pickled green tomato, the sourness is very comfortable. - Roasted Pumpkin: This time I really ate a lot of kale, which is basically fried crispy. The roasted pumpkin still has a crispy texture, paired with mayonnaise, almonds and sweet and sour pickled onions. It is a refreshing and not heavy, and it tastes good even if it is all vegetarian. - Pork Rib Sandwich: It is actually a burger, the pork ribs are tender and juicy, so delicious! The overall sweet and sour style, in addition to the pickled purple cabbage, the sweet, slightly sour and crispy taste of the apple slices really adds points. The fried pork skin is made into the shape of popcorn, which makes the whole burger more fragrant. The bread is burnt and fragrant, which is just right. It is really satisfying to eat, and both of us like every dish. The price is about 270dkk per person.

I had a very satisfying breakfast here. The croissants were delicious, and the coffee was also very good. The poached eggs were average. The environment was very good, with a strong local flavor.

We were treated exceptionally well as we had messed up our reservation and we were scared to miss out on eating here. We happily acccommodated lunch the following day and enjoyed every bit of the food we tried and we tried a lot! Couldn't fault anything - the service was perfect! Was delighted to find little aamanns at the airport and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

I started with the terrine, a couple of slices of a mixed meat and pate, with a small refreshing salad. Very good. Then three open sandwiches, one based on potatoes, another based on fish, and the third based on rump steak. Finally, rhubarb with ice cream and sweet sauce. Buttery bread (but too salty). Super good service.

Couldn't leave Copenhagen without buying some buttered rye bread to eat. Very friendly staff who explained the traditions and gave suggestions. The food was well presented and tasty. A very filling lunch! Great experience that we will recommend.

First time visiting my mum. Booking recommended - on a Thursday, mid month, every table was booked. Staff were very friendly and the food tasted delicious! I would defiantly return.
