The food was excellent! We had lunch there and especially liked the mushroom soup with a half baked egg. The special French toast was also very nice and fancy looking. The staff were friendly and efficient. I’d go here again next time I’m in Bilbao.

Very good food. Outstanding value for money, especially for the quality of the wine list. Ambience absent, really. It's a big room in a hotel foyer. Not a "Bilbao" experience.

Not quite sure about the bread, but everything else was great, and service was helpful. Nice selection of various set menus. Would go again.

Really happy with what we ordered. Pigeon, shrimp tartare, basque snow crab were particular standouts.

While the food was delicious (foie gras and oysters for starters and roasted pigeon and boneless lamb entrées) the service was quite lacking. Upon entering, the host pointed to hour table and said “over there.” We had to ask for olive oil to accompany our bread as well as salt and pepper. When the s&p shakers were brought to the table, the waiter identified which was which — but got it completely wrong. The biggest snafu was the typo in the menu that listed the pigeon as python! And no mention of this when the menu was presented. Additionally, the room is somewhat dated with uncomfortable chairsvand the wall to wall faded red carpet should be replaced.
