Asakusa Review

An alley walking at the most famous temple of Asakusa with kimono is an amazing vibe. Enjoying street food is one of things to do in Asakusa.

Went here with a friend and walked around the place. It was a good place because of so many food that you can try. A bit crowded though but it was fun.

Shallow grass is a must-miss scenic spot in Tokyo. The fragrant temples and the busy shopping streets at their doors form a perfect combination of cultural experience and shopping fun one-stop experience. Zhongshitong is the busiest shopping street. It sells many folk arts and crafts, as well as special products. Hanging ornaments with the letters of Shallow Gray Thunder Gate are undoubtedly the most popular souvenirs.

I mainly visited Sensoji Temple, which does not charge admission. I also visited Kaminarimon, Nakamise-dori, the shrine, and Nishi-sando-dori, where I could ask for fortunes and buy souvenirs. I walked around and picked up all kinds of food. Kimura’s family dolls and Kagetsudo pineapple buns are all famous shops. There is also an amusement park and a shrine that is said to be the origin of the lucky cat nearby. It is quite close to the Tokyo Skytree.

I don't like "special scenic spots" crowded with tourists, but I like some small shops. It's almost Boys' Day on May 5th, so it's very suitable. If you think this street is noisy, walk to the main road. You can easily see the typical black dress with pearl necklaces in many Japanese drama funerals. Because it's the weekend and it's in the Sensoji area, I think there are many religious ceremonies. There are many small restaurants on the main road. I chose Takadaya-Asakusa, which has few tourists. It's delicious. The dining environment is comfortable, the appearance is elegant and quiet in the bustling, and the interior is clean and tidy. The diners are all Japanese speakers, and the dishes are quite authentic.

One of Tokyo's must-see tourist attractions is temples, pavilions, bridges, rivers and colorful fish and towers. After walking from Leimen to pray, you can sit on a nearby stone terrace and rest to see people in beautiful kimonos. It's also a different kind of aesthetic feeling.

In the afternoon, I strolled through Shallow Cao Temple, women dressed in kimonos ready to get on the bus, elderly people dozing around the shop, and all kinds of pedestrians passing through the streets and alleys from time to time. Tokyo on this rainy day is particularly quiet and tasty; in the evening, walking on the brightly lit Ginza Avenue, watching gentlemen in suits and ladies in exquisite dress come and go, everything is tense but orderly.
