A great Lausanne classic and old standby. Always nice to be back. The merguez sausages are legendary.

I truely like this restaurant. Everytime, I eat there the food is delicious. Quantity is great! And Merguez are the best I ever ate.

    4/5Excellent

I had a couscous royal and it was delicious. Not eating lamb, it was replaced with something else of my choice, appreciate the gesture. It was not extraordinary but for the price and overall experience, it's worth it.

A Disappointing ExperienceThis restaurant lacks everything one would expect from a proper dining experience. The visit started poorly, with an unwelcoming young man at the entrance who seemed irritated by our presence. The food is hugely overpriced for its quality. A small salad (likely made with canned vegetables) costs 12 CHF, while a tiny meat-based starter is 16 CHF. The fish tagine (30 CHF) promised a variety of seafood but contained only tiny shrimp, bland white fish, and a couple of mussels. The 37 CHF kebab was equally disappointing, with dry chicken and flavorless homemade merguez. Even the tea was just sugary warm water. This place seems to survive on one-time visitors who leave regretting their choice or those naïve enough to mistake it for authentic Oriental cuisine. Either way, we won’t be back.
