Expectation wasn't high, but the the hopes for a good course experience was nominal. The restaurant was very welcoming but their food was not on par with how a french or European course is meant to taste. It's unfortunate, as the food would have been better if it weren't prepared a day or so prior as this was the taste for the majority of the ingredients used from the appetizer to the main course. We may have caught the restaurant at an inopportune time, but we will not expect to go back again. It would seem they need to refresh their concept about what kinds of ingredients they use and how fresh they need to be on the day they use them, refraining from anything that's not from the same day.
