Bamboo Basket Review

Finally I had Chinese food, which included shredded pork with Beijing sauce, dumplings, and stir-fried vegetables. Although it wasn't as delicious as the ones in China, it was really satisfying and a completely different experience from Western food.

Good food, Terrible service!! Good food, terrible service. The rice was served and cold by the time the mains came. We ordered warm Sake which we were at first told it would take too long to make warm. Then given a wine chiller with boiling water and the bottle in there with a slightly worn and grubby tea towel draped over it and told to wait for ten min until it warmed up. The duck was great, dumplings good but the staff need some extra training to make the experience better. We felt forgotten about and had to keep seeking out a service person for extra drinks or to make another order.

I can see a restaurant in Brucebank that mainly features Chinese cuisine. Although the taste of their Yangzhou fried rice is not quite the same as that in China, it is still a blessing to be able to eat Chinese-style dishes in a foreign country.

The decoration of the restaurant is very good, simple and atmospheric, it is my favorite style. The flounder and honey shrimp I ordered with my friends are delicious and taste great, especially the service attitude of the staff is also very good and can't be picky. After eating here, it will not disappoint.
