In addition to its reputation as one of the "25 best restaurants in Europe", dining here really feels like entering a 19th-century movie! ☕️The first floor is a "pharmacies", with traditional dishes, and the medieval bar is like a magic potion master's laboratory, with scales, medicine jars, crystal lamps... 📖The second floor is a "library", which serves Russian aristocratic menus, and there are more than 15,000 genuine ancient books on the bookshelves. Telescopes, microscopes, globes... recreate the scene of the study room of Russian aristocrats in the 19th century.

The restaurant was recommended by the hotel concierge and was highly recommended on various review websites. It was about a ten-minute walk from Red Square. The outside of the restaurant was decorated very brightly because of Christmas. After entering the door, we were led to the basement, a very historic Russian-style building. The basement is where coats are stored. The guy at the concierge was very polite and graceful. We exchanged our coats for an exquisite iron clothes tag. Because we didn't know much about Russian food, we chose a fixed set for lunch. The borscht was really delicious! The salmon bread was also great, and the salmon was very fresh. For the main course, we ordered fried fish nuggets and beef. The tableware with very Russian characteristics made people's appetite increase. The waiter put the black tea we ordered on the table politely with exquisite tea sets. Looking at the snow outside the window, it felt so comfortable. Finally, let me talk about the service. I really have to give a big thumbs up. It was very polite and professional. This restaurant is very cost-effective. It cost less than 1,500 rubles for two people to eat. I highly recommend it!

This cafe is a good value for money cafe and also a historical site. It was here that Pushkin had a full meal and went out to duel with a general for his cheating wife, and was shot dead. There is also a wax figure of Pushkin here for everyone to visit, which I personally think is a joke.

I ordered 3 main dishes, 7,030 rubles, plus a 15[%] tip, a total of 8,100 rubles. The steak is amazing, and you must try it if you have the opportunity.

When you come out of Tverskoi subway station, there is a way out in the direction of Pushkin on the ground. After you come out, go to the left hand underground passage and walk up the stairs on the left hand side. After you come out, there is a pedestrian traffic light. After the traffic light, go to the opposite building complex and go 20-30 meters to the right! The restaurant service is absolutely first-class! Downstairs is for storing clothes and toilets! There is also an old-fashioned iron door elevator! The toilet is relatively old! Not as beautiful as some people say! Ordered several dishes! I guess it’s because I’m from the south. Except for two staple foods, the others are not in my appetite! Too salty! The price is not cheap. Maybe the exchange rate was not good when we went there, 1:8.1~8.2.
