Casa Rufo Review

This is a special restaurant. We sat in the Market section and it was very charming to be among the quality products on the shelves. We had the T-bone steak for two and it was really something else. Done perfectly and finished with sea salt. Just perfection. And the cheesecake dessert put it over the top completely. Highly recommended.

Small restaurant in the back of a beautiful delicatessen shop near the central train station. I tried the solomillo (brisket), tender and cooked medium to perfection. Good selection of local wines and desserts. Flawless service

Straight forward fantastic food. Very entusiastic waiters with genuin interest in making your evening a night to remember.

We chose to eat here for our only dinner out in Bilbao and it was great. Best steak I’ve ever eaten! We also got the oxtail, squid in ink, leeks, and peppers. All were delicious.

Quite "traditional" Restaurant with a very nice atmosphere (a bit like a butchers shop in the front and several dining rooms in the back). Very attentive staff, quick service, and -most importantly - very good food and wine. We had the croquetas and a salad first, and then a chuletón for two as a main. The first courses were great (half rations are big enough) and the steak was spectacularly good! Nice experience....
