The Central Promenade is adjacent to Victoria Harbour and has beautiful scenery. Some sports events are held here from time to time. We went to the Central section that day. We could see the Ferris wheel in the distance. It was also very convenient to walk to IFC and Pier 9. The place is open and many people can be seen exercising here from time to time. However, there seems to be no shade along the way, which is really unbearable in hot weather.

Central Coastal Corridor is a reclamation park. The Hong Kong government has plans to build the whole area beside the Star Ferry Pier into a recreational landscape area and road, and a bridge connecting an important building. On weekends, many people will come here for leisure, and many outdoor works of art will be displayed here from time to time.
