Chalong Beach Review

The atmosphere was great. The day I went, it seemed like it was going to rain during the day. In the evening, the weather was as you can see.

A place to relax and exercise in the evening. There is a walking path along the sea about 1 and a half kilometers long. A shady place worth visiting, next to the beach. There are only 2 seafood restaurants that survived Covid. The rest are all closed. There is a pier bridge that extends out to the sea for almost 1 km. Suitable for relaxing with the family or exercising.

Chalong Beach is a port for going to various islands...in the evening, people come to exercise...come to sit and enjoy the atmosphere...next to the island, there are also restaurants that serve fresh, clean, and delicious food...come and enjoy the atmosphere at the bay and you will be impressed.

There are many cruise ships in Chalong Beach, which is very convenient for diving. We stayed at the fier42 hotel. The hotel was very quiet, but the streets were not very prosperous, and there were few places to eat. There was a seafood restaurant on the pier. Many Chinese people felt ripped off after eating. The seafood in the restaurant was priced by 100g (no Chinese menu). For example, prawns were 130 baht per 100g, which was about 130 yuan per kilogram in RMB, and lobsters were 350 baht per 100g, which was 700 yuan per kilogram in RMB. The waiter at the door was not very friendly. We went in and looked at the menu and came out. We met a mother with a child at the door. She said she had just finished eating and felt ripped off. Five people (including children) ate more than 1,700 yuan, one of which was more than 900 yuan for a lobster. I don't know if the portion is enough. If it is not for the convenience of diving, it is not recommended to live in Chalong. If you bring your children here, you should live in Patong Beach. It is very convenient to eat and play, and the price is still very cheap. I saw lobsters in a restaurant in Patong were 3,000 baht each, but I didn’t see how big the lobsters were. I’m allergic to seafood, so I didn’t order any, which was a bit of a shame.

Very beautiful, more beautiful than Patong Beach. There are green plants here because it is close to the mountains. Relatively speaking, Patong Beach has very few plants. When you stand on the beach, there is the sea on one side and the mountain on the other. The color contrast is very beautiful
