Chapter One Restaurant Review

The restaurant is located on the first basement floor. It is not large in size, but the dining environment and atmosphere are elegant. Many customers come here for its reputation.

This restaurant is difficult to book, so you need to pay a deposit. If you cancel the reservation, 100 euros will be deducted from you. You can make a reservation by email with a credit card guarantee. The fish tastes very good, and the British beef is delicious.

A perfect Michelin experience This is one of the few Michelin restaurants in Dublin. You know, a French restaurant that can be rated Michelin in Europe cannot be without some characteristics and unique skills! As early as 2 months ago, I asked the local chartered car driver to help me reserve a seat. You know, the average consumption here is 80 euros. If you break the appointment, you will be charged 100 euros per person. So as soon as I got off the plane, the driver reminded us not to forget! We arrived on time according to the appointment time. It was very close to the hotel and it was about a 5-minute walk. Although the restaurant’s reservation information had some minor problems, they quickly gave us a cellar-like private room after knowing that we were from China! With the enthusiastic introduction of the waiter and my brother-in-law’s passable English, we finally completed the arduous task of ordering. Why don’t foreigners’ menus have pictures? Don’t they understand the principle that there is no truth without pictures? Each dish was cooked very delicately, tasted good, and was well matched. It seemed that the chef was very attentive in his design. We are not experts in Western cuisine and do not have any professional comments. In short, the cost for four people including the tip was 350 euros, which was very worthwhile!

The chaptered one restaurant has won Michelin's one star three times and has won many awards in the catering and tourism industries in Ireland. The restaurant mainly serves traditional Irish dishes. I tried a seven-course lunch. Overall, the flavors are diverse, with a certain combination of creativity, and the cooking temperature and techniques of the ingredients are properly grasped. As for the local smoked and sour food in Ireland, my personal taste cannot agree with it. The appetizers are layered and the flavors are progressive. The order of mixed smoke/sour-smoked-wine acetic acid opens the taste buds. The butter, cream, and dairy products are generally well grasped, but due to repetition, they will also feel greasy. The main ingredients are artichokes, which are known as vegetarian meat, cod/shrimp, and black pork, which gradually progress to form a different taste experience of heavy, refreshing, and stimulating nuts, blood oranges, and yellow mustard. The dessert elements are monotonous, and each dish uses only one main ingredient, blood orange, dairy products and chocolate. I have some opinions on the order of arrangement. The coolness and sweetness of blood orange can be used as the ending dessert, while the richness of chocolate and the meringue production method with wine and ginger sugar sandwich make it unique in flavor and texture. However, as the finale of a meal, it would be more appropriate to clear the greasy feeling from thick to thin. It includes two complimentary dishes, a total of nine items, and the service is relaxed. Each dish has a set of tableware. The bread before the meal is divided into black bread and sour bread, which is too humid and slightly sticky.

This is a Michelin restaurant in a very historic building. Lunch is not too expensive according to the consumption level of Dublin. The food is quite unique. If you have dinner, you need to make a reservation. Overall, it is recommended.
