CHUI YAN RESTAURANT Review

We went to Wuyi Mountain for a trip. We went there before returning home on the last day. It was almost 3pm and there were not many restaurants open. [Mint] Environment: The restaurant is on the old street. Old Street Senhuo seems to be a relatively large homestay chain in Wuyi Mountain. The decoration is quite unique and it is quite good in the tourist town of Wuyi Mountain. Because my mother and I were traveling together and she didn't have a big appetite, we just ordered some food. I personally felt that the taste was average. The fish was a bit spicy, and the wild mushroom soup didn't feel very fresh. It was a bit watery. Maybe it was because they knew we were in a hurry and cooked it casually. Only the sour plum soup surprised me. The sour plum soup here is not made with plums like the usual ones, but with bayberries. I am still drooling when I think about it now.

We had lunch here on 5/22 and 5/24. The basic dishes were good and the taste was popular. But the smoked goose tasted a little different. I don't know what the problem was. It is recommended to put hand sanitizer and toilet paper on the sink in the bathroom.

The smoked goose at Lan Gu is delicious, slightly spicy, and the smoked flavor is just right. The stir-fried seasonal vegetables are just the right amount of saltiness and heat, the steamed red-eye fish is delicious, and the red mushroom tofu soup has a great color! When I went to Wuyi Mountain, I ate two meals at their house.

We waited in line for a long time, the business was pretty good... The fish was delicious, no fishy smell, I ate it cleanly, the snails tasted good too, the potato chips were spicy and those who like spicy food should find them delicious... Overall the taste was good, maybe I was starving...

Because the two of us didn't order the smoked goose in Lan Gu, we ate red-eye fish, pork belly and black bamboo shoots, cinnamon, yam soup, and wild vegetables, a total of four dishes and one soup. The dishes were very filling and tasted very good. The two of us didn't finish them and packed them up. The environment is clean and quiet, and it is a high-end dining option in Wuyi Mountain.

I came to Wuyi Mountain for five days and was very satisfied with every meal. I only had time to come to Cuiyan for lunch before leaving. The decoration style is simple and natural, mainly using bamboo and wood. Since many dishes have been eaten before, such as the famous red-eye fish, I ordered a few new flavors, pepper and salt stream fish, mushroom soup, bamboo shoots and pickled cabbage, and snails. Except for the snails, which I didn’t think were very delicious, the others were good. The mushroom soup was light and fresh, the stream fish was crispy, and the bamboo shoots and pickled cabbage were worthy of being the signature dish with a unique taste. I paid on Dianping.com and spent only 116 in total. It is a veritable Internet celebrity restaurant. The service attitude of Wuyi Mountain catering is very good!

There are a lot of people at his place at night. There are many restaurants around, and his family is the largest. I had to wait a little before I got a seat. The environment is pretty good. I came here for the cinnamon aroma after reading the reviews. The food is okay. The fried tea leaves and tenderloin are fried together, which feels a bit strange and a bit oily. The pickled cabbage and bamboo shoots seem to be dried bamboo shoots, not very crispy, but taste good. Overall, it's pretty good, and the price-performance ratio is very high around the scenic area.

This restaurant is just downstairs from the Chashanfang Inn at No. 3, Old Street, where we stayed. There were quite a lot of people. We ordered their specialty, steamed red-eye fish. Because it was cooked and killed, the food was slow to come out. We waited for about half an hour, but it was worth the wait. The fish meat was super tender and tasted better with the soup, but it was a bit salty at the end. The cinnamon was fragrant. The meat should be tenderloin, but there was more cinnamon, which was really super fragrant. The bamboo shoots were mostly tender and tasted great with the sauerkraut.
