The third dinner in Chengde, "Qianlong Dumpling Restaurant". I only found out from the reviews that "Qianlong Dumpling Restaurant" and "Xin Qianlong Restaurant" where I ate on the first day in Chengde are two restaurants of the same group. No wonder some of the recommended dishes look so familiar.
Environment: Friendly, mainly dumplings, mostly family meals.
Dishes: There are many varieties of dumplings, but I still haven't eaten "Qianlong Dumplings". The mantis shrimp dumplings are worth recommending. A serving of 15 is only 19 yuan. A must try! The mantis shrimp meat inside can be vaguely seen when you take a bite. Do you know gourd strips? You can try "Farmer's gourd strips pork dumplings". The braised fan bones are very solid, with a lot of meat and strong flavor. The seemingly ordinary cabbage and bean curd casserole is very tasty, and the northern vegetables are a little oily.
Palace almond tofu is still my favorite!
