What do you think of when you think of Lijiang food?
This question is really troubling.
Although I go to Lijiang almost once a year,
I can’t find any food that I remember very well every time.
The cured pork ribs, fire-pot chicken and rice noodles are good.
Wandering in the ancient city with few people, it’s rare to be so quiet.
In the alley, I found this hodgepodge restaurant.
I grabbed a single meal at random.
I also ordered a portion of Naxi roasted pork belly, which was very filling.
The roasted pork belly is fragrant, cut thinly, and eaten with mint leaves.
It’s fat but not greasy.
But the mint leaves were boiled and full of oil when I ate them.
I thought about asking the store to add two fresh ones.
As a result, the contrast between the experience and the first time I entered the store was too big.
Lijiang still has a lot of authentic food to try.
