Returning from Nanning to Zhanjiang, I went to the Yuegui Restaurant in Shankou Town, the home of the Cantonese. I tried white-cut chicken, braised pork with seafood, fried prawns, steamed rubber snails, garlic-fried Chinese cabbage, and mixed fish soup. I found the familiar taste of my childhood as soon as I tasted it. My parents would take me to Zhanjiang and Guangxi to eat here when I was a child. It is an old restaurant for more than 40 years. It is the only conscientious restaurant that does not increase prices during the National Day holiday.
