Review

We had dinner at the Sichuan-style family restaurant. The dishes were salty. We ordered a vegetable. There were a lot of fungus scrambled eggs. We also ordered an egg fried rice. The softness of the rice was okay, but it was too salty, but it was full. Drink tea and dilute it.

I had two meals in Xiahe, both of which were solved here. However, it may be because it was the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day holiday. I waited for 2 hours for dinner. When I was waiting, the dishes were ready. After finding a seat, I probably waited for at least an hour for the first dish. I made my own tea and took my own cups and tea sets. The second time was very familiar. Haha, despite this, we still went a second time. The dishes were cheap and very tasty, especially the expensive dishes were very special. We ordered one each time. The first time we ordered spicy lamb chops, I thought it was made in a dry pot. The lamb chops were very refreshing and tasted super good. Except for this dish, which cost 148 yuan, the others were really not expensive. The Sichuan-style camphor tea duck was also quite delicious, 32 yuan, but I can't remember the other dishes. It was neither good nor bad. The main dish of the second day was spicy shrimp in the wings, which cost 128 yuan, which was also great. The boss refused to reduce the price and said it was already very fair. Well, it's really not easy to do business.

This is my second time here this year. There are still many Sichuan restaurants. I checked the Ctrip guide and found that this one ranked second in the Sichuan cuisine nearby. I navigated there directly. The location is also very good, right on the pedestrian street, across the street from Labrang Monastery. I ordered a few dishes, and the taste was good overall, with a homely taste. The small restaurant is quite unique, with no hall, but private rooms and small stalls. Many lamas also eat here.

There may be more Tibetan food in Xiahe. It is not easy to eat stir-fried dishes. This small restaurant is full and there is no seat. The taste is not bad, of course it cannot be compared with restaurants in big cities. The homely taste, the beef stew with potatoes is delicious. There are also some lamas eating in the restaurant, which makes us feel close to this city. The price-performance ratio is not bad, it is still good value for money.

Very refreshing. I'm not used to eating beef and mutton all the time, this Sichuan restaurant is really a pleasant surprise. Many locals eat here, including Lama brothers. The service is also good, and each room is a private room. Cheap and affordable, with large portions.
