Soon after entering Mordaoga Town from Genhe, we came to an area where iron pot stew restaurants are clustered. According to the recommendation of our tour guide Mr. Wang, we chose Shanyuan Farmhouse, which is known as the best iron pot stew in the area. The restaurant's first recommendation is chicken stewed with mushrooms. I wanted to change the taste, so I chose the Daxinganling cold water mixed fish pot, with flower rolls. The fish in the Northeast has a thick body and solid meat. Compared with the fish in the Jiangnan water town, it may be a little dry, but it can fill you up. Flower rolls and pancakes are optional, both are staple foods. The price is affordable, the ingredients are fresh, and the taste is slightly salty.

Shanyuan Farmhouse serves wood-fired iron pot stew. On the walls on both sides of the entrance to the store are placed some furnishings with Northeastern characteristics, including a picture frame of the "Eight Weird Things in the Northeast", which is quite interesting!

Heading north, we passed Mordaoga and stayed overnight. Mordaoga is known as the "hometown of iron pots". The firewood-fired iron pot stew is a must-try. My brother in Hailar recommended Shanyuan Farmhouse. This is its own house and is open all year round. It is not a "peak season store" that only serves tourists and is open for two or three months in summer. I ordered the famous "iron pot stewed goose" and sticky bean buns, which are indeed unique, especially the thick and rich soup at the end, which is especially delicious!

The taste is particularly good. The environment is also very good. Especially recommended for small stupid chicken mushrooms.
