Dolce Stil Novo Alla Reggia Review

One of the best meals, services and ambience I have ever had in my life. Everyone was so kind and polite and even chef Alfredo Russo himself came to say hi and chat with us at the end. We couldn't feel more special ;) The place is beautiful, a real royal treat. They even served us coffee in the external patio overlooking the Venaria gardens - which is a must-have experience on a sunny day! Wine list was also fantastic, of course, with a great selection of Italian wines and prosecos. I will have to come back there for sure, hopefully soon!

The restaurant was a little tricky to find (to the right of where you enter the palace), but once inside everything was smooth sailing. We thought we would go with the 5 course menu because we always end up overstuffed with tasting menus. At the last minute we decided to go with the 7 course menu and we were glad we did, since it ended up being a perfect amount of food. The dishes weren't overly complicated and instead let the main fresh ingredients shine, which we appreciated. One of our favorite parts of the meal, were the wine pairings. All the wines were delicious and fit the menu perfectly. The only slightly negative thing I could say about the experience was that the restaurant itself was kind of plain looking and didn't quite fit the splendor of the area around it (palace). That being said, the views from the terrace were absolutely beautiful and made up for the simplicity of the inside.

One of the best discovery in Turin. Amazing food all surrounded by an incredible team that made our experience extraordinary. Favorites were the soft egg with pecorino and the "pasta in bianco".

The chef Alfredo Russo offers a refined experience, where tradition and innovation are merged elegantly. The dishes in the minimum details, excellent ingredients and harmonious flavors surprise the palace. The unique location in its kind, elegant and exclusive without any comparison with any other place in Piemonte. The perfect service and the accurate selection of wines complete an unforgettable gastronomic trip.

Service gentleness and food distinguish this amazing restaurant within the kingdom of Venaria .It can't be possible to go to star restaurants and chat with the boss at the end of dinner ...Thanks for the splendid experience.
