El Gran Barril Review

I found that every restaurant in Spain has a plate of squid ink rice that you can order, and it's always a big plate. It tastes very good. If there are two of you, I suggest you order one plate. It's definitely worth it. You can order other things at your discretion. You won't make a mistake.

EL Gran Barril is a well-known seafood restaurant in Madrid. Their seafood ingredients are really fresh, so their business has always been pretty good.

I had many times in Madrid rice with lobster but never as good as in this place. A part from that they have very good seafood. Staff is friendly and by ordering a beer at the bar you get a small "pincho"... usually salmon. For a family, couple of business lunch, this place is the perfect place... if you are looking for seafood or fish of course!

Good to enjoy excellent fish at a very convenient area of Goya. Nice atmosphere and good service. Recommendable.

The place and food are very nice. We asked for recommendations and the waiters didnt explain much. They charge us the entraince without requesting it that was inappropiate.
