When I went to Guilin on a business trip, the local company specially arranged for us to have lunch at this restaurant. It has the best viewing platform for viewing the Elephant Trunk Hill. The view from the restaurant terrace several floors high is first-class. It was a windy and refreshing day. The autumn sun was not too strong, but the wind was a little strong. The restaurant is upstairs in the Jingxiang Hotel. We came here at noon on a weekday. There were not many guests, and we didn’t need to make reservations in advance. It may be more popular on weekends, or tourists don’t know that there is a view here, so it feels that not many tourists come here to eat. The outdoor scenery is really good, and there is a scenic spot in front of us, but the wind is strong, so we still choose to sit indoors. There are Chinese and Western food here, with many styles of dishes, and the products are also very good, with the level of star-rated hotels. {Passion Juice Spare Ribs}, this is the first dish on the table, which also makes us shine. The spare ribs are served in a glass translucent container, contrary to the traditional plate. There is a lot of meat in the ribs, all of which are steaks. They taste OK, without the fishy smell of frozen bones. The passion fruit juice is moderate, the sweetness and sourness are just right, and there are black seeds of passion fruit as embellishment. {Stir-fried beef fillet with chicken and mushrooms}, the portion of this dish is very good, there are a lot of beef fillets, usually beef is expensive, the portion will be a little less, but there is no cutting corners here. The ingredients are very fresh, the beef fillets are very tender, and the black pepper sauce is added, the taste is just right, and the black pepper taste is not too strong. {Beer fish}, beer fish is a specialty of Guilin, and it is much more delicious than I thought, and much better than the usual street shops. The fish belly is chosen, so there are not many bones, and it is also convenient to eat. The taste of beer is only light, so you don’t have to worry about getting drunk.

The weather is too hot, and it seems difficult to go out. With a temperature of over 30 degrees, I can only go out a little later. It is a good choice to see Xiangshan Mountain here. It is also a good thing to order an afternoon tea and sit here quietly watching Xiangshan Mountain and Lijiang River.
