Fogón de Mariana - Antulo Review

After a nice walk along the coast after arriving on our cruise ship found the restaurant with no problem. When we arrived there was only one other table seated but reserved signs on all the others, this is always reassuring and sure enough within the next 90mins the restaurant filled up with mostly local people who seemed to be regulars. We had popped into a fantastic bar beforehand where we had a couple of glasses of wine and some small tapa so we skipped starters and both ordered burgers, mine the T-bone steak meat and the GLW went for the plain steak burger both cooked as we requested, medium and both served with fries. They were both lovely. I finished with the Baileys Lava Cake which was also very good. Would happily return when next in Cádiz.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was well presented and very tasty. Good value and would certainly recommend.

Restoraunt is very nice, with fair price and great service. Our waiter was David, he responded quickly to every demand, helped with menu and special offers from restaurant. In the end the check surprised us in a good way, it was lower then expected. The portions were quite big, so they let us take away the rest of the portions.

Great restaurant. Doesn't look very inspiring but once the food arrives that is soon forgotten. Menu rather confusing - you get a menu brought to you but there is also other options on your printed placemat. We ordered well though and the service was cheerful and attentive.

Excellent service. Israel, our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. He helped us select from the menu and he wasn’t wrong. The dishes were lovely and the presentation excellent. There is also a good wine list. Value for money. Highly recommended,
