This is lovely little family run restaurant serving quality rustic French cuisine. No frills but good ingredients well cooked and nicely presented. Service is extremely friendly and unhurried. We will definitely revisit next time we are in France. You’ve got to try the home made Baba au Rum!

We had a lovely meal here last night. The food was excellent quality with a varied menu including both regional dishes and a burger option for the kids. The interior of the restaurant was air-conditioned and there is a pretty terrace outside for cooler evenings. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady who spoke a little English which combined with our little French meant that we could navigate the menu and order with no problems!

The place is what it is, a basic family owned eating environment that serves high quality food in a friendly pleasant manner. The food is well priced, the portion sizes are sufficient. The menu changes regularly. I always make a point of eating there when I am at the house in France.

Pretty disappointing all round to be honest. Came here on good recommendations and it was friendly enough and made an nice effort to fit our reservation outside which was great. Service to get the drinks and order was slow but we understood (one person serving front of house) but there was only one other table. We had the sharing starter (for two, shared between 4) as a nibble and this was good. Calamari was very nice. Main courses are where we hit issues. 3 of the 4 had the “pièce de beouf” and ordered one rare and two medium. The meals arrived and it is like the meat had never seen any seasoning in its life (including the duck) however the chips were great. The rare beef was cooked well but not as tender as expected / promised and one of the mediums was good. But to reiterate, lacked any kind of seasoning. The other was like chewing a piece of leather and on sending back were told “they had tried it and it was fine!” so we’d have to pay for it. They duly kept it on the bill (at 22€) but did reduce the extra burger ordered by 3€ as a “petit cadeaux”. So we ended up basically paying for 2 meals and only have one - we might have kept the beef to feed to the dog if he could have chewed through it. Disappointing on the last night of the holiday. Lack of choice in Parisot clearly means not much effort required by the restaurant which is a real shame.
