This time I took the high-speed train to Wuhu for a meeting. Fortunately, the person sitting next to me was a local of Wuhu - a female doctor. I felt that she was quite knowledgeable about food (hahaha). She enthusiastically introduced me to the various local delicacies, which attracted me to the place even before I arrived. Among them are the shrimp roe noodles of this time-honored brand (so delicious and fragrant! Well-deserved reputation!), jade siu mai, and crab roe buns. I followed the map and had a full meal. They were all so delicious. The filling of the buns was a little sweet. I, a pure northerner, also loved it. Next to this old store is a fried stinky tofu (Yu Yu Fang stinky tofu, which was also recommended by her). The tofu is white, freshly fried, and poured with sweet sauce. I personally feel that it tastes better than the stinky tofu in Nanjing Confucius Temple, but I don’t know how long the oil has been used. Thanks to that enthusiastic and lovely female doctor! (I have eaten at all the places you told me, and it was worth the trip, haha)
