What I tried for lunch today was the (yellow) puffer fish soup from Jinxiu Fugu Restaurant. This restaurant has been in business since 1970. It was lunch time when I arrived, and the door was full of people waiting for their meals. Well, it seems that I came to the right place.

There are several different grades of puffer fish soup to choose from, and the prices are also very different. I tried the cheapest black puffer fish and the slightly more expensive yellow puffer fish. Although both are delicious, the black puffer fish is just average, like chewy and delicious fish meat, which reminds me of fried eel. I recommend the yellow puffer fish, which has a little more fat and tastes more special. The side dishes are also delicious, and some types can be refilled, which is very good.

Korean puffer fish is also quite good. Busan is famous for its puffer fish. The knife skills are very good. The puffer fish is cut very thinly. The other side dishes are just average. Just eat the puffer fish.

The restaurant is divided into two floors. This time we tried the second floor which specializes in pufferfish set meals. The price downstairs is more favorable and the place is full. There are only three tables on the second floor. Overall, the taste is OK, although the sophistication of Korean cuisine is still average. The set meal is to cook each part of the pufferfish in different ways, and the taste is good.

I found this place by pushing a baby cart in the bitter wind and rain. Fortunately, the map in the review is very accurate. I came out of Exit 5 of Haeundae Subway Station (Exit 3 is also OK) and found it by following the map. The restaurant is doing well. There are many people coming even in bad weather. The aunts and the agassi are very friendly. At first, I ordered a fresh puffer fish soup and a cold fish skin. The aunt even found a waiter who can speak Chinese to explain to me that the puffer fish soup includes fish skin. She asked me to change a dish and recommended fried puffer fish steak, saying that it has no bones and is suitable for children. I have to give 120 likes for this attitude. The dishes were served quickly. Puffer fish soup: There is a fish head, a few pieces of meat, and a lot of fish white (probably the testis). The soup is very fresh and sweet. As a Hunanese who has lived in Guangdong for a long time, I think the taste is enough. The fish white tastes particularly good, soft, glutinous and smooth. The bean sprouts and wild celery in the soup are very fragrant. I don’t like bean sprouts. I think it’s delicious. There are a few pieces of meat with skin attached, but unfortunately there are a lot of thorns on the skin, otherwise I feel that the skin should be delicious and full of collagen. Cold fish skin: spicy, I would like it more if it is cooked in soup. Deep-fried puffer fish steak: In fact, the taste of puffer fish is no longer tasted, and it also includes a big shrimp tempura, which is good for coaxing children, but my children prefer the pickled cucumbers and pickled radishes in it, which is speechless. The small dried fish provided: My children eat them all one by one, it is definitely their favorite. There are cans of them sold at the door, considering that I am taking care of the child alone, it is still okay.

There are many ways to eat puffer fish, including fried puffer fish, puffer fish soup, and puffer fish millet porridge. Puffer fish sashimi tastes very good, but I was a little scared, haha. The overall taste is very good, a very satisfying meal.
