Golden Horn Review

When we arrived at the first tourist attraction in Istanbul, perhaps our expectations were too high and we didn’t see the shocking effect as shown on the postcards. However, Istanbul is really beautiful, with clear blue sky, colorful clouds flying where the seagulls fly, and the local residents are relatively Buddhist. This place was once an important port and naval base for the Ottoman Empire and the Byzantine Empire.

The Golden Horn is located on the west bank of the southern entrance of the Bosphorus Strait. It is about 7 kilometers long and shaped like a slender antelope horn, dividing the European part of Istanbul into two. The Golden Horn and its two banks are famous tourist attractions and are typical Turkish scenery.
