We encountered a special exhibition of the Winter Olympics in Gwanghwamun Square. There was a free outdoor ice skating rink, various promotional activities for the Winter Olympics, and a robotic arm simulating ski jumping was quite exciting. Four people stood in a group, wearing VR glasses, and the huge robotic arm simulated various exciting skiing movements in the air. When it dived down, people were screaming, but the queue was too long, so we watched for a while but didn't play. There were various dolls and mascots inside, attracting many young people to take photos, and no one wanted to miss the grand event that happens once every four years.

Guanghuamen is located in the center of Seoul, from Guanghuamen to Shizong Road in the city hall, known as the heart of Seoul. In Guanghuamen Square, there will be a change of guard ceremony at the hour between March and June, August and November every year. The change ceremony is definitely a major feature of Guanghuamen Square. Guanghuamen also has a project to experience Hanfu. There are generals, soldiers and other costumes, just on the left side of the main gate, which is free. But there is a fixed time point, queue up, only put in six or seven teams to experience each time, and then you continue to queue up to wait for the next opening time point. For children who have a lot of time, they can come and arrange it, so they don’t have to spend money outside to experience it~ and, Guanghua Gate and Gyeongbokgung Palace are connected together. Go in from the Gyeongbokgung Gate, and the Gyeongbokgung Palace is behind. Tickets are required to enter the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Entering the Guanghua Gate, you can see the entrance ticket office of Gyeongbokgung Palace. The ticket is 6,000 won. PS: The best route to visit Guanghuamen and Gyeongbokgung Palace is to enter from Guanghuamen, turn around in the palace, and go out from the east gate, you can go directly to Sanqingdong and Beicun Hanok Village.

[Recommended line] Depart at 8 o'clock in the morning, take the subway to Gyeongbokgung Palace, slowly stroll around, wait until the first shift at 10 o'clock. The environment here is also very good, the square feels big. Every hour, there will be a shift ceremony at the Guanghuamen, there will be Chinese broadcasts, and the service department will also have free costumes to borrow photos, 15 full! The performers are wearing a combination of red, blue and green colors and musical instruments, and everyone is wearing a fake beard. [Note] Although we went in winter, we must queue up as early as possible to visit here, so that we can grab the favorable terrain, and when we first went, we didn’t know where to start and where to end, so we kept changing positions back and forth. And there are all sides around, so many are side! [Nearby dining and accommodation] There is no accommodation around, but 20 minutes walk, there is a place to eat and go shopping on the edge of Insadong. [Tickets] Guanghuamen Square is free, and the Jingfu Palace inside is charged.

Similar to Tiananmen lunch gate! Protect the Gyeongbokgung Palace inside! No tickets are required on Thursday at the end of each month! And wearing Hanfu does not require tickets! It is said that the little brother guarding the door is very handsome, but I didn't see anything on this holiday! There are many cars on the main road at the door, really like Chang'an Street in front of Tiananmen Square.

Every day, the shift ceremony at the Guanghuamen is carried out every hour, and there is also a Chinese broadcast. The service office also has free ancient costumes to borrow photos, 15 full. The changing of guard ceremony was very fast, basically 5 minutes, and if you are interested, you can also take a photo with the guards wearing Hanfu. Guanghuamen is like Tiananmen Square in South Korea. Tiananmen is covered with the Forbidden City, and Guanghuamen is covered with Gyeongboo Palace. Therefore, it is one of the landmarks in Seoul. Fortunately, you can also see the traditional Korean guard changing ceremony, and you can even ask for a photo. We saw the performance at 3 pm. Pretty good-looking. 3 pm. This is the bronze statue of General Li Shuchen and Emperor Shizong in front of the Seoul Political Center Square, behind is the Guanghua Gate, inside is the Gyeongboo Palace, and the Qingwatai of the presidential palace next to it is a historical footprint square.
