Heiligenstein Review

It was a perfect dining experience. I dined there with my girlfriend and we chose 3 meals menu and it was just perfect. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The staff is so polite and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing! Was searching for a restaurant in or around Baden-Baden for a birthday. Had seen this restaurant on the Gault Millaut website and gave it a shot. Nestled in the wine region around Baden-Baden, this restaurant is a gem you should definitely try out. We loved the location as it was not cramped like other places but gives each party enough space to not disturb other guests, thanks to a great setting. The service was impeccable and the staff made this birthday so special. The restaurant crew went above and beyond with special table decoration and a small birthday cake. Everyone was very friendly and the food is not only of great quality, but also a lot for the price you pay. They have a great choice of wines and promote the wine region. Would definitely recommend and will be back! Thanks again for having us!

Quaint, farmhouse style restaurant in the middle of a vineyard. Staff was excellent and very attentive. The food was just ok and compared to other restaurants in the area, was missing some creativity and flavor. We had the tiger prawns and also a ravioli pasta dish as our mains and while there was a lot of food, both dishes were fairly bland and not very flavorful. Unlike the main courses, the starter we had (pumpkin soup) was very good and very rich and flavorful. The desserts were also very good. We were reminded that this was German food and compared to the food we had in France perhaps our expectations were a bit too high.
