I'll enjoy it and come back again if I don't order 12 dollars of chips. Other food prices are fair. The wines also tasted great, we enjoyed them very well, we had duck meat, and tuna, they all tasted very good, I want to give this restaurant four stars.

A wonderful, traditional Dutch restaurant with plain decor and arguably the very best local cuisine we’ve ever had. Their multi-course menu allows you to pick dishes from within each course, to customize your dinner. Each course comes with a well matched wine.

I went with my two closest friends last night -- We found every dish full of flavor and were delighted with the freshness of the food. I chose the wine pairings (half glasses!), and I was impressed with how well the wine and food complemented each other. One friend works as a waiter, and he was very impressed with the calm efficiency of the restaurant -- how brilliantly everyone was performing without breaking a sweat.

The food was excellent, both in quality and presentation. The menu offers something for everyone. The service was friendly but professional. The wine list is reasonably priced. Great to see that this Amsterdam institution is still thriving!
