Itoh Dining by Nobu Review

This ITOH DINING by NOBU is a local Japanese cuisine with a high reputation. The overall price/performance ratio is relatively high. We ordered a full table and the ingredients were very fresh.

ITOH DINING BY NOBU A collision of food and architecture, a feast for taste buds and vision. A famous restaurant jointly established by the world-renowned super chef NOBU and the architect Takushi Nakamura, who won the highest honor in the 2015 international architecture award "The LEAF Awards". If you are on a hot spring trip in Hakone, there are no other excellent restaurants around except the kaiseki cuisine provided by the Japanese hotel. Undoubtedly, ITOH DINING BY NOBU is the only one here. It is conveniently located, about a 10-minute walk from Gora Park. The courtyard is majestic and beautiful. However, the taste of the whole set meal was not particularly outstanding, and no dish left a deep impression. The main dish of the day was the teppanyaki of Kuroge Wagyu beef, and the amount of 80g was slightly insufficient. The taste was remarkable, better than that of ordinary teppanyaki restaurants.

Japanese beef seems to be more tender than Australian beef of the same grade, and the sirloin here is delicious.

We had been eating Japanese food for a long time and wanted to change our taste. I didn't expect that there is such a highly rated Western restaurant in Hakone, and the standard did not disappoint us. The key is that the price-performance ratio is very outstanding.

The western food here is good, the lamb chops and steaks are delicious, and the meat is tender.
