God! If you like whisky or want to experience something special, spend a night at Jack Rose. It has the largest whisky collection in the country - if I'm wrong, correct me. Although some can and are very expensive, this is a must for at least one drink. The friendly and friendly staff will make you feel very relaxed. I know there are other rooms at The Saloon nightclub but I only eat/drink in the bar. After entering the Saloon nightclub, my date and I were immediately transported to a whiskey wonderland! Bottle on the bottle! It was eye-catching. They started our entertainment with crispy salmon skin pumpkin. I didn’t want to drink whiskey but asked them to give me something special so my first two cocktails weren’t listed - if so, I couldn’t find them on the menu. I know there is a mother-in-law, it is wonderful! We tried many of their small plates, all of which were eaten within minutes of receiving them! Bone marrow, oysters, Scottish eggs, and combinations were delicious and delicious. A friend at the restaurant was celebrating his birthday so we had a whiskey tasting all night. The picture was accompanied by four samples. Everything was delicious at their own ceremony. I can't wait to go back. Expensive though, but worth every penny. Also, have a drink with friends at a happy hour and split the chicken skins. It won't break the bank and you'll leave Cloud 9. Enjoy!

Good atmosphere - the bar area on the second floor has a retractable roof which is a great weather collaboration. The food is not cheap but delicious. It is always crowded on weekends so every night is your best bet. Bartenders are hinting at specific whiskey (Scotch whiskey (expert) or other than Scotch Scotch, i.e. by rye, bourbon dynasty, etc.) and other types of adult drinks.

My husband is a whiskey lover and was recommended this place by his brother during our trip to DC in September 2017. It was me, my husband, our 19 month old son and a couple of my husband's friends when we visited this establishment. I was delighted with their service as they accommodated us (exhausted parents who had been walking around all day with a bulky stroller and a wayward baby) very well. My family went to The Saloon first and ordered everything they had on small plates: steak tartare, pumpkin ravioli, grilled pork belly, seared scallops and a lobster roll. Everything on the small plates was priced between $15-20 and was quickly served and artfully decorated. Every plate looked delicious and tasty. As for the whiskey. Let's face it, this place has one of the most extensive whiskeys that would delight the average whiskey connoisseur. My husband ordered a few different whiskeys - poured in whatever size (ounces) you like, in whatever glass you prefer, and with a small sipper bottle with water to add, or not, your whiskey. You can tell he's a happy guy. If you're a whiskey fanatic, this is the place for you! Overall, the atmosphere was just right. The service (especially the whisky expert) was helpful and friendly. The whisky was excellent. The food was delicious and tasty. What else could I add?

This restaurant has a unique menu and the meals are excellent. Recommend the chicken liver & onion appetizer and the pork chop for entree. Order biscuits with your meal and they are made to order and brought still hot. If you like a good bourbon or whiskey you can choose from over 2000 bottles on the wall. Finish with a burnt cream ice cream or bourbon ball on the spot. One of the best meals I had in DC.

We were in DC visiting museums and went looking for dinner. We decided to add the "Whiskey Experience". We had raw oysters and grilled scallops for appetizers and the Jack's Burger for entree. Neither my girlfriend nor I are whiskey or scotch fans, so we left it all up to Charlie and our server, Chris, the whiskey consultant. Together they chose two flights for us and nailed it. We found a great bourbon, a great rye, and a scotch. We were hooked. If you visit, know ahead of time that the whiskey flight is not cheap, but it is guaranteed to be a great time. >
