🌸Stepping into May, the bright sunshine announces the beginning of a vibrant summer. Zhongshan Road, which has been silent for a long time, has not yet recovered its former prosperity. But the crowds of people in twos and threes, with smiles on their faces, indicate that this year's magical start is about to end, and everything will return to the past. Taste the old shops on Zhongshan Road and relive the familiar good taste-Jinjiagang Seafood Stall!
📍Address:
The store is located at No. 47 Zhongshan Road, about 5 minutes away from the intersection of Zhongshan Road Ferry, 10 meters in the alley of my hotel. There is a sign above the entrance of the alley, but it is still a bit easy to walk through, so be careful. The navigation is accurate, please navigate if you can't find it!
[Mint] Environment:
The store is not small, mainly with square tables for four people, and there are also large round tables for 10 people, with a scale of about 30+ tables. Due to the impact of the epidemic, the business situation has not yet been put on track. When we arrived at the restaurant, there were not many customers. Compared with the last time, the space inside the restaurant was much more spacious. The decoration has not changed much from before, but after the careful cleaning by the store owner, it looks cleaner and tidier than last time. On the right hand side of the entrance is the seafood pool, which is full of varieties and very fresh. Gray floor tiles, seabed wall paintings, wooden tables and chairs, with bright lights, and no excessive decorations. The overall feeling is clean, bright, lively and down-to-earth.
🦑 Dishes:
The menu is still the five signature dishes in the store:
| Ludao Four Palaces^ Jellyfish head, Wangluo, white-boiled octopus, and conch slices are four-piece, which are very authentic local appetizers and are commonly seen in local wedding banquets, birthday banquets and other banquets as cold dishes. The ingredients are fresh, the seasoning is moderate, and the characteristics of salty, fresh and crispy are all well performed, and the taste is great!
| Steamed squid with taro shreds^ Stuff taro shreds into the squid rings, steam until crispy, and simply season with soy sauce. The tenderness of the squid and the fragrance of the taro shreds are full of freshness and fragrance, soft and sticky.
|Black tofu with abalone sauce^The tofu used is homemade black tofu, and the main ingredients are black sesame and soybeans. Although it doesn't look good, the taste is not ambiguous at all. The black tofu is salty, fragrant and tender, the dried scallops and shrimps are fresh, and the sauce is also very good with rice.
|Steamed grouper^The signature of the signature, no fish, no feast, this grouper is really worth ordering. The ingredients are fresh, the size is good, the meat is tender and chewy, the soup is sweet and delicious, and it tastes original. A perfect rice killer!
|Erysopus mushroom stewed taro balls soup^The soup is clear, light and greasy. The taro balls have a chewy texture, with a taro fragrance, and a unique flavor.
📌Overall review:
One of the best old seafood stalls on Zhongshan Road, hidden deep in the alley, is still crowded with guests. The dishes are genuine, the cooking methods are authentic, and the taste is quite good. The environment and service are very localized. If you want to try the local stall experience, coming here is definitely a good choice.
