Karavalli Review

The environment of this restaurant is really good. It is a small courtyard, quiet in a busy city. The outside of the Gateway Hotel is dirty and messy, but walking into the courtyard is a different world. The dishes tasted good. The waiter recommended several Indian specialties and drank local beer, which was very good. The price was also very good. The meal for two people cost nearly 6,000 rupees.

I went on a business trip to Bangalore, India for 5 days in September, and finally came to the legendary magical India. When it was 38 degrees in Shanghai, it was a little over 20 degrees there, and the temperature was suitable. The overall impression was quite good, not as legendary as it was. -Transportation: There is no direct flight to Bangalore, Singapore Airlines flies from Shanghai to Singapore and then to Bangalore. -P1-2 Domestic transportation: The company arranges bus pick-up on activity days, and I usually go to the company or travel by Uber. My Indian colleague also asked his driver to take me here and there, which I am very grateful for! But the traffic in Bangalore is too congested, with only one main road and no motor vehicle or non-motor vehicle lanes. Everyone followed the car and squeezed forward, and the more crowded it was, the more congested it became, see P1. There are many foreigners staying here, the overall clean and quiet, and the room also has a small kitchen. -P4-6 Food: I ate at the event site, the hotel, the company cafeteria, and restaurants outside. They are all places with guaranteed hygiene. As long as you don't try roadside stalls easily, you will generally be fine. As for drinking water, I drank bottled water outside. Boil the water in the hotel before drinking. As for taste, except for curry, it's spicy, spicy, spicy. I can't eat spicy food, so I try not to eat spicy food. Every day is a high-carbon day, either rice or cakes. -P7-8 Shopping: A local colleague brought me to a government-authorized handicraft store, and I bought a few small bags of souvenirs. The local saris are just for viewing. The utilization rate is extremely low after buying them, so I was persuaded not to buy them. Summary: Safety issues, everyone kept telling me to be careful before I came, but after I came, it was really okay. Maybe the place where I was on a business trip was Bangalore, a relatively new city, and the quality of people is generally high.
