January/February are very quiet months for Barr so we found ourselves the only customers on a Saturday evening. However, the restaurant really looked after us well, and we had a super evening. Xavier, front of house, is very amiable and made us feel like special guests. The food was excellent, and the interior of the restaurant is simple but cosy. This restaurant deserves success and I recommend it absolutely and without hesitation - such a better option than the only other restaurant in Barr, the 5 Terres, which may have the same quality food but at twice the price and without any understanding of what “service” means
