La Belle Époque Review

Pleasant lunch in what must have been a leading city centre hotel. Service was excellent in a rear garden with attractive wisteria canopy. Food choice maybe rather simple and limited for lunch but okay on a sunny day. Hopefully a more sophisticated menu for evening meals. We have often stopped here for s coffee whilst visiting and it's a lovely decor to appreciate.

We were lucky to find this restaurant for Monday evening dinner. The place is lovely and the service&management top class. The staff knew everything about food and had superb wine recommendations, which we were happy to follow. The food surpassed our expectations, it honored the quality of the ingredients. The desserts that are sometimes an afterthought, were delicious with nice twist. A lovely place for a summer evening dinner!

Nice atmosphere. great location with parking nearby, helpful service and not too expensive. Both of us were very pleased, although the menu was a bit limited - perhaps one more starter and one more main.

Outstanding food and excellent service ! The place is great, particularly when the weather is nice as having lunch or diner outside is so great. But even having a meal inside when the weather is chiller is a great moment. High value for a reasonable price. Can’t wait to go back !
