La Matta Review

Disappointing service, friendly but not very attentive. Steak ordered medium rare but the chefs idea of medium rare and mine were a way apart as it came out more like bleu.

Very nice and characteristic place with a Sicilian Scopa Cards theme, excellent quality meat, excellent quality service, truly high quality staff, kind, friendly and attentive, I can't wait to go back to eat there, also because the menu is rich and I must say I ate fabulously, of course I recommend it to everyone, perfect for going there with the family on the weekend

We went to this place in the Duomo area for my birthday. Very good meat with exaggerated portions. Attentive and punctual service.

Restaurant located in the center of Messina, possibility to eat both inside and outside, fast service, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food. Try the pasta ammuddicata!

It was a wonderful discovery! A small family celebration for which we had a special 31 sandwich, an aperitif and two aperimattas. The aperitif consists of a drink of your choice between beer, wine or one of the local cocktails accompanied by a composition of different types of meat treats to the taste of the chef. In my case sausage, chops ♥️, rib with barbecue sauce, hamburger, sandwich with speck, slice of bread with porchetta, slice of bread with pulled pork (?)... And I think I'm forgetting something. In short, much more than an aperitif! A quality-price ratio that seemed decidedly positive to me for a quality product, cooked in a tasty way. I chose the violet spritz which was good but I wasn't thrilled. Everyone has their own tastes... I won't betray my Hugo again. I absolutely have to go back to try the sandwiches and the treats ????
