La Rôtisserie de Philippe Review

Our first time eating at this restaurant. We had a lovely lunch with friends and the food experience was exceptional. Especially enjoyed our Lamb Shanks the meat was so tender and just fell off the bone. Not expensive and the service was excellent. Nothing too much trouble and all the staff spoke very good English. We were looked after very well and enjoyed every course served. We will definitely return and will have no problems with recommending to our friends.

We really enjoyed our meal - we were a large number (11 people) and had asked to be outside. Our table was ready for us when we arrived and was perfectly placed under a very generous awning. The service was excellent - there was a good variety of dishes on the menu and everything we ordered arrived promptly, was generously portioned and delicious. Everyone agreed they had really enjoyed their meal and that it was good value. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I booked this restaurant as it was close to my hotel and had favourable reviews. My friend and I had lunch there to see if it did ,indeed, live up to its reviews. We were not disappointed. Our evening meal was absolutely superb and the service was exemplary. This venue is a real find and I can highly recommend it.

Excellent hosts and food. Being lunchtime it lacked a little ambiance, but that of course depends on who’s there on the day. Reasonable value for money.Would I recommend it? Certainly.

The restaurant is quite small but has some outside seating , the food was good service quick , it’s away from the main tourist areas but definitely worth a visit for lunch
