Lantau Country Park Review

Lantau Island is high in the southwest and low in the northeast. Its main peak, Phoenix Mountain, is 935 meters above sea level, the second highest peak in Hong Kong. Lantau Island is the largest island in Hong Kong, China, with an area of ​​141.6 square kilometers, which is equal to two Hong Kong Islands. Since vehicles need special permits to enter, the natural environment is still preserved in Hong Kong, a place with a small land area and a large population. There are many country trails, camping sites and barbecue sites, as well as long beaches. There are also many stray cattle. You can feel the tranquility of the countryside here. However, the government intends to develop in recent years, and this countryside may be damaged. It is a pity that we took the Ngong Ping 360 cable car directly to the top of Lantau Island. We can only overlook the beautiful scenery of the country park from the cable car. The vegetation in the whole country park is lush and green, and there are long trails built in the park, which is suitable for hiking. It's a pity that we didn't have the opportunity this time, and we will definitely come to walk next time.
