LE CLARENCE Review

The modern French cuisine incorporates many elements that are familiar to us Asians, which is a very novel collision. For example, the coquillage in the appetizer is paired with something similar to chorizo, which actually feels like spicy fried clams. In fact, the second main course, pan-fried pigeon breast, is a very traditional French cuisine, so there is no surprise, but the pigeon leg with sour and spicy potato shreds and caviar is very interesting. Finally, I want to complain that the chef is really obsessed with the taste of croustillant. Eating too much will really make you a little aesthetically fatigued (several deep-fried meatballs are interspersed in it), which will lower the overall experience.

Located in the center of Paris, there is a restaurant with an overall super feel, called Le Clarence. The environment of this restaurant can be described as high-end, and it is also located in a classical building.

The reservation requires high clothing, and the actual T-shirt is also allowed to enter. It is very, very well-regulated French restaurant, so that you can really feel the French culture. Go at noon, cost-effective, 65 euro package, very worth it.

One of the small number of fine restaurants to truly maintain 2* levels that existed before the pandemic. The food, service, and rooms were great before and remain great—and if you have been disappointed by what now passes for a 2* and 3* experience, I recommend Le Clarence which has maintained very high standards.
