Le Comptoir de la Tourraque Review

Le Comptoir de la Tourraque has a cozy and charming ambiance, decorated whimsically with cutlery and other fun stuff. The one server is welcoming and very knowledgeable about the menu. Miraculously, he never appears to be pressured, despite being responsible for all guests. The food is imaginative and delicious. We both had the crispy egg with asparagus vinaigrette, a 7-minute egg dipped in panko and quickly fried so that it was crunchy, but creamy with its slightly runny yolk. Both the tuna and the octopus were delicious, and the desserts were delicious and fun (the citron mousse looks on arrival like a lemon, the outside a thin shell of yellow-colored white chocolate around the mousse). We highly recommend Le Comptoir!

The most unbelievable food. An amazing understanding of what low temperature cooking mixed with flair and a total lack of pretentiousness can do.Stunning. The place is beautiful, intimate and feels so authentic. The staff were the calmest, most welcoming and most knowledgeable. This place is the jewel of Antibes.

The atmosphere is unique, they make you feel the past but even the present of this land. The food and the service are amazing. If we will return here we will surely return in this restaurant.

My second visit the first for my wife and once again i thought the food was excellent and so did my wife.The service is friendly and very attentive and we enjoyed the easy going ambiance its not the place for a quick meal the food is presented perfectly and is to be enjoyed

Very cozy and warm French bistro with delicious food. Perfect for a quiet, chill dinner with a “feels like home” ambiance. If you see ravioli on the menu make sure you get it! And all the meat dishes we got (Lamb and beef cheek) were cooked sous-vide and were succulent.
