Le Hamac Kreole Review

First, I rarely ever write a review; however, Le Hamac Kreole changed my mind. I have loved the places I have been in the Center of Nice but my taste buds have grown dull over the typical food we have experienced - they needed an awakening for something new and fun…….well the buds are dancing with delight today!We had an awesome experience! Food was best we have had so far Nice welcomed a diverse taste from the typical pizza and creamy Nice food.Our host/server was great and energetic, the food was excellent, full of love and every plate in our party and other groups we saw were clean. Not that familiar with creole food but we truly enjoyed the experience. If you are tried of the same old pizza , and French food, which also has be good but not great take the trip to this wonderful and home like place and let your taste buds have fun! Try the whole fish dinner I have never seen my wife eat an entire fish and then asked each of us for some of our chicken dishes afterwards. We will be back every time we come to Nice.

We absolutely LOVED this restaurant! It is small but the atmosphere is great and the food is amazing! Coming from a city that unfortunately doesn’t have a great food variation when it comes to restaurants, we were so excited to try this Creole restaurant. Such a great variety of delicious dishes to choose from, and they also have a kids menu for the little ones.

Amazing creole starting plate. The fritters are exceptional. Great customer service. We can’t wait to return.

Interesting and tasty dishes. There was a very large party there, which resulted in slow service for our table. Fun atmosphere...which was mostly provided by the very large party that slowed our service. So, all in all it was fine! Be sure to ask for their home-made hot sauce!

The food was quite good, we took 1 main course each and 1 desert to share. The main course was poached fish with rice and vegetables: tasted good and was overall delicious. However nothing special..As desert, we took a sweet potato cake: first time I tried that, interesting but not for me (it was good though).Place was a bit noisy, but the waitress has been nice with us. Recommended!
