The dishes are very good, with just the right amount of saltiness and each dish is made with great care. The view from the terrace is really nice, and it is a place worth checking in. The service attitude is very good and I will come again next time.

[Location] It is not far from Xizhou Town towards the sea tongue. You can see a yellow-walled yard in the rice fields from a distance. It is very conspicuous. [Environment] The antique, exquisite and atmospheric doorhead is an old house at first glance. There is a description of the acquisition and restoration of the building by the Linden couple at the door. [Service] You can visit the yard on the first floor of the hotel for free from 13:00 to 17:00 every afternoon. The clerk speaks fluent English and there are many foreign guests in the hotel. [House Facilities] The house is indeed a historic house, but I personally think that it is not particularly outstanding in Dali and Erhai Lake, and the room is not particularly luxurious and comfortable. The house price is the first in Dali. I personally think that the cost performance is not high. It is just a reputation. There are so many unique inns in Dali. You can choose for yourself. History: This courtyard can be said to be the crystallization of the wisdom of the Bai architect and Mr. Yang Pinxiang, and is a fine piece of Bai architecture. From design to construction, it is soaked with the original owner's hard work. He personally designed it, personally went to the construction site to direct it, and strived for excellence, giving full play to his wisdom. It has been more than 60 years since it was completed in 1948, and it is still very solid. The former Dali Municipal Government designated it as a municipal cultural relic protection unit, and the provincial government designated it as a provincial cultural relic protection unit in 1987. In June 2001, it was listed as a national cultural relic protection unit by the State Council. The original owner of the old courtyard, Yang Pinxiang, and his brother Yang Minxiang, once served as managers of the Xizhou business group "Hongxingyuan". They were engaged in import and export trade. During the Anti-Japanese War, they pioneered the opening of a trade route from India to Yunnan via Tibet, and contributed to the supply of materials in the rear area during the Anti-Japanese War and the development of Yunnan's economy during the Anti-Japanese War. Xilinyuan is called Linden Centre in English, and was founded by the Linden couple from the United States. The Lindens had traveled in Asia for more than 20 years. They first visited China as international students in the early 1980s, and later worked as senior executives and consultants for foreign companies in China. Later, they opened their own art gallery in the United States. They always dreamed of opening a path to explore, learn and share Chinese history and culture. After opening an art gallery in the United States for many years, they returned to China again and began their long and arduous journey of studying and learning Chinese culture. They spent four years traveling all over China and visited many places with rich history and culture. In the end, because they loved the folk customs and history and culture of the ethnic minority areas in Yunnan, they decided to settle in Xizhou, an ancient town in Dali, Yunnan. After visiting Xizhou Ancient Town in 2004, the Lindens wanted to use Yangjia Courtyard as their cultural club. After two years of continuous negotiations and communication with the local government and cultural departments, they convinced them that they had the ability to protect and properly restore the courtyard. In the end, their efforts and sincerity finally won the trust and support of the local government. At the same time, they also spent a lot of time and money with local government leaders at all levels to study and restore the entire courtyard. Through their continuous efforts, the dream of many years was finally presented to the world as "Xilinyuan" in April 2008, and their "cultural journey" truly began.

Xilinyuan looks like a big house in Wuzhen, but the tall ebony door has more exquisite carvings, symbolizing the nobility of the big family in Yunnan. Such a good courtyard turned out to be a stable. Such a fertile place, no wonder there are countless romantic figures~ Who said that only the Central Plains is good? The transportation is not well developed. The same house is actually two different worlds in the morning and evening. Who would have thought that behind the stable is the biggest world? Xilinyuan is one of the best boutique hotels renovated by foreigners in Xizhou, preserving the original architectural style and culture to the greatest extent. The eaves of Bai architecture are really exquisite. Different light angles reflect the ever-changing luxury. You can imagine the meticulousness of life at that time. The three-course tea performance officially started. The first one was bitter and clear. The best Biluochun was slightly burnt, just like the continuous trial and error in the long-term life. The ingredients of the three-course tea are tempting enough, like the five flavors of dust. The third tea is sweet and intoxicating. It is estimated that only a 70-year-old man can taste its true taste.
