There aren't many restaurants in Oia, and there are even fewer choices when visiting in winter! I live in Oia, and I heard that this restaurant is one of the better ones in the area. The restaurant is decorated with local characteristics, and the business is pretty good. I ordered local specialties, the fish fillet was fried just right and very tender, and the cheese mussels tasted good too, it's worth recommending...

As soon as we entered the restaurant, an elderly foreign lady greeted us warmly (probably the landlord and owner), and a young couple (probably the elderly couple's children) quickly put two tables by the railing together to accommodate us, three adults and two children. After we sat down, we looked through the menu for three or four minutes, and several hearty but unknown lunch dishes were written in the notebook of the boy who took the order. Twenty minutes later, the small dining table that seemed to be abruptly standing on the blue Aegean Sea was filled with hearty "reality" dishes transformed from words.

I went to OIA to watch the sunset. It is said on the Internet that this place has the most beautiful sunset in the world. Unfortunately, I didn't see it. Before the people watching the sunset competed with me for the restaurant, I found a restaurant that suited my taste and sat down - Lotza, a restaurant with a history of more than 30 years, SINCE 1982. A restaurant that can stand for 30 years must taste good. And the restaurant has a good view, overlooking the town of OIA. The dishes here are all good. I ate 2 staples that day. The biggest flaw is the rice at the bottom. The Greeks cooked the ghostly half-cooked rice. Although it is full during meal time and you have to wait for a seat, there are many waiters and they can handle it. And because there is a sea view, people come here to spend time and are in a good mood, so they can still understand if they are occasionally inconsiderate. 2 people, 2 main dishes + drinks, 35 euros, the price-performance ratio is good.

The map location of the store is wrong. It is actually on the main pedestrian street along the coast. You can see the sea from the restaurant window. It is a time-honored store that has been around since 1082. The taste is amazing. I recommend the local salad with goat cheese, fried tomato meatballs and shrimp rice. The shrimp is so big that it is bigger than a fork!

The cheese portion is quite filling, I like it, the shrimp is big, fresh and tastes good. It is also great to enjoy the scenery here, the scenery is endless, and it is so comfortable with the food. I recommend trying it here.
