MAHARAJA INDIAN RESTAURANT Review

This time when I came to Thailand, I fell in love with coconut milk soup. The fresh aroma of lemongrass and the sweet and smooth coconut milk blended together, which is the taste I love. I drank a whole bowl in one breath. On the contrary, the chicken and seafood in it were mediocre. Seafood platter, the seafood is not fresh enough, all frozen products, the taste is slightly worse, the Thai hot and sour sauce is not bad, so it can be eaten. Water spinach, as usual, the vegetable is still ordered water spinach, this restaurant is not bad. Curry crab, the curry crab in this restaurant is considered to be well done in affordable restaurants. Although the crab shell is not full, the crab meat is relatively fresh. Lemon steamed fish, this is a good dish, finally not frozen fish, the fish tastes fresh and tender. Seafood fried rice, I was hungry, so I ate half a bowl of fried rice. The average price per person is over 70, the price is still quite cost-effective. There is no air conditioning in the store, and I didn’t feel hot even with the fan blowing.

There are many Indians on this street, so this is a restaurant that combines Indian and Thai cuisine. There is no air conditioning and it is open. The boss seems to speak good Chinese. I saw a Gourmet Forest logo hanging on the window! The tableware is relatively simple and the presentation is slightly rough, but the price-performance ratio is still good, 73 per person (without drinks). I ordered almost all the old Thai dishes, water spinach, homely flavor, which seems to be available every meal. Curry crab, not too full, but the meat and curry taste are okay. I guess the curry is Indian curry. The fish, the name is quite strange, I can't remember it, anyway, after adding lemongrass or something, it is relatively tender when steamed; coconut-flavored Tom Yum Goong, this is very good, it goes well with rice; I didn't order white rice but a fried rice. I kept sending WeChat messages, so when I looked up, it was almost finished, so I think it should taste good. A combination of BBQ, shrimp and squid, the dipping sauce is good. You can also use Alipay to pay the bill. If you are a black diamond member, the exchange rate will be very good.

I saw a big seafood platter at the door, so I came in to eat. The platter was indeed good, but the grilled mussels were just so-so, they were small in size and had some sand in them. The Tom Yum Goong was pretty good.

As a typical southeastern Asian Thailand restaurant, Maharaja Restaurant mainly have some southeastern Asian tropical area style cuisine food.

I don't recommend this store. The taste is average and the price is expensive. Their yogurt is not good either. It feels a bit spoiled.
