Maison de la tour Review

We adored the gorgeous terrace and charming ambiance of this local favorite restaurant. Our waiter was so perfect, with attention to detail and his elegant service. The food is excellent. We can highly recommend this one. We were a group of 8, and we sat at a hand crafted artisan mosaic table with comfortable seats.

Our meal was very good. One of us got the fixed price 4 course dinner and each course was interesting and surprising. My husband got the duck and Ingot the scallops- both excellent choices. Marie the owner is darling and very attentive.

The food ( tomato app.,magrat duck,pork loin) was delicious,and a generous portion size was served with a true glacé de viande ,our drinks were well made and the wine list was extensive and had a fair number of affordable quality choices available ,our server was very friendly as well,we would definitely return in the future

A lovely quiet terrace away from crowds and tourists (!). We enjoyed an excellent meal and would happily go again if we return to Avignon.

There are only two places I eat in Avignon - here at La Mason de la Tour and La Mirande - two best chefs in Avignon - La Mason de la Tour is managed by chef and owners / husband : wife team that will treat you like family. The entire experience will leave you wanting more.
