A nice little place outside the Topkap Palace, offering typical Turkish recipes, some even dating back to the 16th century. I tried eggplant with cinnamon and cardamom, and seasonal salad, all very well.

Some of the best food I ate in Istanbul. Tried the desert of chicken stewed eggplant, bulgar wheat, chestnut appetizer and papaya. You won't be disappointed no matter what you get, but it's quite expensive. You get what you pay for!

It was a legal union. The food was really good, the fish balls we had, the first sailor's pie and goose skewers and the power steak. The sailor's pie was fantastic. The honey we used was huge - although our waiter told us it was just plain honey. They also made a lot of effort to ensure that food also in history gets precise results from different Ottoman periods, if you like.

The atmosphere in this restaurant was wonderful. As soon as we sat down, we got the best pomegranate juice I had ever had. That’s the rest of the meal I wanted to drink :) The food was delicious and the service was absolutely fantastic. My boyfriend and I continued to talk about how much we loved our experience here. Highly recommended!

As you would expect from the restaurant's name, it was a great meal. Half of the restaurant is an open-air terrace, a beautiful setting to match the service and food. We had freshly squeezed pomegranate juice to start with and then they brought a red pepper good flatbread, walnuts, green olive sauce. We shared an appetizer called sailor roll, seven kinds of cheese made into mince pies, and it was delicious. My husband had stewed chicken and mushrooms, and I had stewed meat, rice and pine nuts, and the meat inside was very different and delicious. A very nice night.

I had this meal in Istanbul last night and had traditional Turkish dishes. The place wasn’t particularly lively. The restaurant is located on the roof terrace of the hotel and despite the bad weather, it has a memorable design. The location is good, next to San Sofia. Recommended.
