I really wanted to eat meat, so I took a bus from Gunma to Karuizawa, a place poisoned by American culture. I got off the bus and went straight to "Meijitei", and ordered 400g of sauce fried pork cutlet + a bowl of rice 🍚, and Shinshu grilled beef tongue + soba set.
A whole piece of fat tenderloin was roughly cut into two fingers wide, piled up in the bowl, wrapped in rich sauce, and dyed the cabbage shreds at the bottom of the bowl red and shiny. I bit off half a piece of pork chop, scooped a spoonful of rice, and resurrected on the spot! !
Shinshu beef tongue was grilled to be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was dipped in Shinshu miso, slightly sweet and rich, with a strong spicy aftertaste, and it was very tasty with the tender and juicy beef tongue. However, in winter, the thin slices cool quickly, so you must eat it while it is hot to have the satisfaction of eating meat.
