The seafood is very good. The charcoal grilled pork neck is delicious and super tender. The sashimi is also very good. It is fish from the local waters of Taiwan. It tastes very tender and not hard.

Everything from the decoration, utensils, ingredients to the service is exquisite. Some dishes do retain the old Taiwanese flavor, while others are creative cuisine. It is worthy of the rating of a Michelin one-star restaurant, but the prices are slightly high.

First of all, their water is 150 per cup, and they say it is imported from Japan. Their ingredients are indeed fresh and they focus on quality. The taste varies from person to person, and I feel it is not bad. In total, I ordered a tofu, platter, whitebait cake, fried milk white, and a soup, which cost nearly 6,000 New Taiwan dollars.

Shanhailou is a Taiwanese restaurant on Ren'ai Road in Zhongzheng District, Taipei. All dishes are made with organic ingredients and the overall taste is light. The tofu pudding is very sweet, the fish is very clean and has no bones, and the liver and chicken rolls in the Shanhai platter are also delicious.

I felt the feeling of Shanghai when I came to this restaurant, because it is a restaurant in a western-style building, and it has many similarities with Shanghai. The dishes here are specially cooked, and you can tell from the name that they must be different.
